1. What we collect

IRS Clarity does not store your personal tax data on our servers. All tax calculation data (income, deductions, profile) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never transmitted to us.

When you purchase a subscription, Stripe collects your payment information. We receive only your email address and subscription status from Stripe.

2. Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing: stripe.com/privacy

3. Cookies

We use minimal cookies required for the service to function (theme preference, language). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible Analytics) that does not track individual users and is GDPR compliant by design.
